You might remember me first mentioning this garage sale find here. I know it's just an old magazine rack, but I figured it would be great for my craft room. I would like to say I did something spectacular to it, or came up with this new great idea for organizing your magazines, but I didn't. Sometimes things are just fine the way they are.
There was nothing wrong with it, in fact, it's in great shape. The color was just outdated. I just lightly sanded a couple spots and spray painted it baby blue.
See, nothing a little spray paint can't fix! I do love simple projects!

ReplyDeleteGreat job! Just popping in from TT&J.
Too funny. I just saw this magazine rack on another blog tonight. (Sorry I can't remember where.) And I had one just like it that I gave away. I never thought of painting it to make it look better.
ReplyDeletewhat a great facelift!! looks great :) Thanks for linking up to Your Whims Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteI have a magazine similar to this one that I spray painted hunter green several years ago when hunter green was the craze. I am going to drag it out of the attic and give in a sanding and a new coat of paint, thanks to your post. Thanks Audrey...sometimes we just need a little reminder of what something can be.
ReplyDeleteLove this! I am your new follower :)
ReplyDeleteWow! What a transformation! You're right, spray paint works wonders.
